B.S. in Information Technology Services

The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Services (ITS) prepares students for a variety of potential careers, including technical support, technology training, instructional design, office management and administration, technology sales, digital publishing, and project management. Students receive training in the use of computer-based information systems, particularly software applications and hardware, and the creation and execution of technology user support. Students may also earn a minor in general business administration as part of the degree requirements. Industry certifications exams are also available to ITS majors through the Certiport testing center located in the Department of Instructional Systems and Workforce Development

Each student is responsible for knowing and completing all requirements established for his or her degree by the University, college, and department. A student′s advisor does not assume that responsibility. Any substitution, waiver, or exemption from any established departmental or college requirement or academic standard is accomplished only with the approval of the student′s academic college dean. Exceptions to University requirements are authorized only with the approval of the College of Education Dean and the Provost.
